NEW SCHOLARS AT WORLDS BIGGEST TOURNAMENT

The Gothia Cup is massive. The opening ceremony alone attracts 52,000 spectators and among them were our own new Scholars  competing against opposition from across the world.

Playing Canadians, Americans, Swedes and Germans it was to Werder of Germany that the dream of a trophy ended. With victories over the other nationalities a game of silly mistakes against the Germans put the Histon boys out.

The tournamentw as a brilliant experience enjoyed by players and their parents alike and a perfect conclusion to their Academy careers to date . They now (10 of them) start their scholarship careers and we wish them well.
