After two tough games at The Bridge we are back on the road this weekend as we head for The Newton Fallowell Stadium to take on Loughborough Dynamo for our next NPL Midlands league game.
The Dynamo have had a change of management in the last month with Brad Munn stepping up from his Assistant Manager role to take on the top job permanently after Lee Attenborough resigned at the end of October. The new Gaffer had a tough start with defeats against high-flyers Chasetown and Ilkeston but saw his side comprehensively overcome Corby 3-0 last weekend at Steel Park.
With the new management looking to make their mark this is going to be another tough one for us but with a more settled side and the seemingly never-ending run of injuries to key players slowly starting to subside Lance has seen a string of much better performances from his side and good points secured against promotion-chasing Carlton Town and Stamford. Last weekend’s narrow defeat to Halesowen offered more proof that this Histon team is finding it’s feet after all the disruption of early season and we go into this one with optimism that we can fight our way out of trouble and climb away from the bottom of the table.
The club is running a team coach again on Saturday and fans are welcome to take up the spare seats. The Coach will depart from the Bridge Road car park at 11.30am and the fare is £15 per head, payable on the day. Booking in advance is recommended to guarantee your place.
