Histon Football Club is pleased to announce that the club bar and catering facilities are set to come under the direct management of Bridge Road staff during the summer.
Seen as a priority of the board of directors, it is hoped that this move with allow the clubs facilities to be used on a more regular basis with the intention of increasing social events options for supporters of The Stutes and indeed the wider local community. There is also the anticipation that such use will see the club benefit from the increased revenue stream.
Whilst there is already a numerous club personnel who have agreed to assist staffing, there remains a requirement to add to this number. We are seeking to add enthusiastic team members to mainly cover matchday shifts on an as needed basis. Such persons we hope will aid the supporter experience at Bridge Road.
Predominantly work would on be on matchdays, with these being Saturday afternoons, with coverage also often required on Sunday mornings/afternoons. There will also be a smaller number of fixtures hosted on Tuesday/Thursday evenings and the occasional bank holiday.
