We all love a trip to the coast and on Saturday 19th October we have the perfect opportunity to combine a trip to one of Norfolk’s finest seaside resorts with the thrills and excitement of a Histon away game. It sounds too good to be true, but the chance to watch the Stutes and to enjoy fish and chips on the beach on the same day don’t come along often!
The draw for the 1st Round of the FA Vase has giving us an away tie against Great Yarmouth Town of the Eastern Counties Premier Division and a day out by the sea, so to make the most of the occasion the club is running a luxury coach to ferry players, coaching staff and fans to the game. It will leave Bridge Road at 10.15am promptly and after a stop for lunch it will arrive at the Wellesley Recreation Ground in Great Yarmouth at around 1.00pm. Departure after the game, once the players have showered and are suitably refreshed, is likely to be shortly after 6.00pm.
If you wish to enjoy the company of our First team squad on the 164-mile round trip and without the stress of having to drive, speak to Paul Smart who will be behind the bar at Saturday’s game against Eastwood. Alternatively, you can email Paul on paul.smart@histonfc.co.uk A seat on the coach will cost you just £10 but numbers are limited and tickets are selling fast, so don’t leave it too late or you will miss the bus!
