We take a break from United Counties League Premier South action at Bridge Road this weekend for a first round tie in the Sports Grounds Development UCL Cup.  The opposition will be Eastwood CFC who are the current leaders of the UCL Premier North division with a record of 9 wins and just 1 defeat in their 12 league matches this season.  We can justifiably expect a tough game, but with a home record of just 1 defeat in our last 13 competitive matches, the Stutes will not be prepared to roll over without a fight.

After fielding a settled team in our last few matches, Manager Chris Nunn may this week be prepared to field a few players who are returning from injury plus some of the Under 18s side, who have now won all six of their opening games of the season after beating Bugbrooke St Michaels Under 18s on Thursday night.  The game will be played to a conclusion on Saturday with penalties to decide the winner if required.

Usual admission prices are in place.  Season Tickets are not normally valid for cup games but, for this season only, Season Ticket holders will be admitted free of charge to all home ties in the Sports Grounds Development UCL Cup.  So, be sure to bring your season ticket with you.

Kick-off is at 3.00pm but there will be live football on the screens in the club bar, which will be open from 1.00pm, plus hot food at the burger bar.
