The United Counties League, now known as the GCE Hire Fleet United Counties League, has released a further batch of fixtures for the opening few weeks of the 2024/25 season, which for the Stutes includes a couple of highly anticipated games against local opposition. The compilation of the full fixtures list is still some time away due to several UCL teams ground-sharing with clubs in higher leagues, or in the case of Coventry United with a high-ranking rugby club. Only once their ground availability for the season is known can all fixtures be finalised, including a few remaining question marks over some of our own early season fixtures. However, the League Secretary is working tirelessly to resolve all the outstanding issues as swiftly as possible.
As announced earlier, we host newly promoted Northampton Sileby Rangers in our opening game of the season on 27th July here at Bridge Road with a 3.00pm start. There is no midweek game for us during the first week of the season, but we travel to Stowmarket Town on 3rd August for an FA Cup tie. Should our game at Stowmarket end in a draw, it will be replayed at Bridge Road, most likely on Tuesday 6th August.

All the above are subject to change and progression in the FA Cup.
Next Saturday 20th July is our final home pre-season fixture against Biggleswade Town, kicking off at the earlier time of 1.00pm. Be sure to get here early for that one as the countdown to the 2024/25 season reaches its final stages.
