Histon FC is delighted to announce the formal appointment of Mark Pleasants as Head of Youth Football, spearheading the Club’s youth team operation throughout the Under 13 to Under 18 male teams. Mark is now in his third season with the Club, has been actively involved with the successful Eastern Junior Alliance and Scholarship squads, and with the Norwich City Regional Development Programme partnership which aims to recruit and develop the best young local players into the Histon FC youth development pathway.
Mark describes his appointment as “a dream come true”, saying “any Cambridgeshire football person will tell you that Histon is one of our biggest clubs, so to be charged with building up the youth programme here, and developing players towards Isthmian League first team football is a fantastic opportunity for me”.
