Histon FC announces a change to its men’s First Team management positions. Lance Key, Mark Critoph and Simon Day have been replaced by Histon’s current Reserve Team Manager Matt Payne who will take responsibility for the team on an interim basis as the Board begins the search to find a new permanent Manager. Further announcements will be made in due course.
It is with significant regret The Board has decided it was time to make a change considering the team’s poor start to the season and disappointing league position. Lance will always have a place in this club’s history with over 150 appearances to his name as a player and 250 as manager since taking on the role in October 2016.
He will always be welcome at Bridge Road and everyone at Histon FC is grateful for his significant contribution to the club over all of those years. We wish him every success in the future.
