At last we are finally able to get back to playing some football on Friday when we welcome Walsham Le Willows to Bridge Road for our first friendly as we build up to the start of the 2021/22 Northern Premier League Midlands Division season.

As you all know by now our squad will look a bit different this season after a number of players have moved on but Lance is well aware of the work ahead of him and his phone has seen plenty of action over the past few weeks as he looks for new additions to the Stutes squad.

We had been hoping that this game would be the first at which we would be able to open the stadium with minimal covid restrictions in place but alas those hopes have been dashed. Therefore for this game the in-stadium arrangements will be very similar to the last game we hosted way back in October last year. The Bar will NOT be open and the Steve Fallon Stand remains closed to spectators. The Cambs FA Stand will be open though as will the Burger Bar.

Tickets are available to buy online ahead of this game and securing your ticket in this way helps us to speed up access into the stadium for supporters and protect our staff from handling cash at the turnstile so please consider getting yours in this way if you are coming to the game. For those that purchase in advance please have your eTicket ready to be scanned and you will then be able to enter the ground via the gate adjacent to the turnstile. It’s quick and easy as long as you have your eTicket ready on your phone or in paper form if you have chosen to print it out and bring it with you.

A cash turnstile will be open but we would ask all supporters to please have the correct money with you when you get to the turnstile if at all possible. Once through the turnstile you will be asked to provide your contact details for Test & Trace purposes and this can be done by scanning the NHS QR Code which will be easily visible once inside. Alternatively you can manually leave your details with our volunteer staff who will be on hand once you come through the turnstile.
