In recognition of International Women’s Day on 8th March, Histon FC will be celebrating the role played by women at our football club and in the wider Histon and Impington community at our game against Lutterworth Town on Saturday 9th March. The aim of the IWD 2024 campaign is to forge a more inclusive world for women, which is an objective we share at our club through the operation of our two women’s teams competing at county and regional league level. We will therefore be honouring the involvement of the female volunteers and supporters who play an important part in creating an inclusive and safe environment at our home games.
Celebrations on the day will include reduced entry prices for women and girls and other activities to be announced in the run up to the game. Please put the date in your diary and join us on 9th March to be part of a day of collective global activism and celebration that belongs to all those committed to equality.
