We travel to Hinckley AFC this Saturday for our first meeting with the club formed from the ashes of Hinckley United, who we had previously met in the Conference League North back in 2012/13. Our hosts were convincing winners of the Midlands League Division One last season, which earned them promotion to Step 5 and a switch into the United Counties League. They have made a comfortable start to life at the higher level, although they are yet to win a league game at home.
We can expect to be playing on a very tidy FIFA Pro 4G pitch and, with the home side wearing red shirts with blue shorts, watch out for a Histon side wearing a unique combination of colours!
AFC Hinckley play in the town of Barwell, which is 3 miles to the northeast of Hinckley. The full address is Kirkby Road Sports Ground, Kirkby Road, Barwell, LE9 8FQ
Entry to the ground is £8 for adults with concessions £6 and under 16s £2. Cash and card are accepted on the turnstiles and there is a club shop, refreshment canteen and the Barwell Sports Bar for refreshments during the afternoon.
