Mildenhall Town vs HISTON

The Stutes make the short trip to Suffolk to open their pre-season schedule against Eastern Counties League side, Mildenhall Town.
A first look at Lance Key’s side will be on offer for supporters as we meet up with Phil Weavers side once again. With Ed Rolph and Danny Gould boosting the experience available within The Stutes ranks, alongside a splattering of trialists, fringe and U18 players it will likely prove to be a good runout for both sides ahead of their respective Step 5 seasons.
Our hosts have gained a number of players who have joined the ranks at Recreation Way in recent weeks; Jarid Robson, Simon Swinton, Olly Hughes, Lloyd Groves, John Kaye, Ben Nolan and Callum Anderson. Signing such experienced players suggests that Mildenhall harbor strong ambitions.
In their pre-season outings prior to this, the home side have faced March Town United and Cambridge University Press, picking up slender victories on both occasions.
Admission is set at £5 for Adults, with children Under 16 admitted free of charge with a paying adult.
