New manager Chris Nunn has confirmed the first appointments to his management team with the arrival of Matt Vernon, Jordan Williams and Mick Hunter after all working with Chris at AFC Rushden & Diamonds.
On the playing side we can announce that Joe Sutton has re-signed for us here at The Bridge, moving from Daventry Town for whom he played against us last weekend. Joe will be no stranger to Stutes supporters as the 24-year-old midfielder came through our Scholarship here and made his senior debut in the 2016/17 season before going on to make a total of 77 appearances for us, scoring 5 goals. He moved on to St Neots Town where he spent four seasons and joined Diamonds in the summer. He was in the Diamonds team that came to Bridge Road in pre-season before joining Daventry and is available to go straight into the squad for Saturday’s visit to March Town United.
