HISTON v Easington Sports
United Counties League Premier Division South
Saturday 24th February 2024, kick-off @ 3.00pm
Easigton Sports are in town tomorrow as we are back at Bridge Road for the second of four Saturday games on the spin in the league, although don’t forget Tuesday night’s trip to Wisbech Town in the CFA Invitation Cup semi-final is an away day to break up that run of home games.
The Sports have been in good form of late and should they be successful at our expense tomorrow they will make it four league wins on the bounce in a run that has seen them beaten just once in their last seven outings.
Sports did the double over us last season with a Dan Watkin goal enough to take all three points at Bridge Road in April but we’re on a run of three unbeaten ourselves of course and Chris Nunn will want to make it back-to-back wins at The Bridge with another three points tomorrow as he continues to adjust and build his squad.
As of Friday eveing the pitch is ok and we are not expecting a problem tomorrow however, should we get any more downpours overnight that may change so keep an eye on the club socials for updates just in case. And a reminder that all being well we will kick off at 3pm.
The Bar and Burger Bar will both be open as usual too with cash and contactless payment available at both. The Burger Bar is supplied by Histon Chop Shop whose burgers and sausages are hand made to order for the club whilst we also offer Pies, as well as chips (of course!).
Turnstiles open at 1.30pm.
