Tomorrow night we take a break from league action and head north to take on Wisbech Town with a place in the Cambs FA Invitation Cup up for grabs for the winner against either Soham Town Rangers or Cambridge City, who also play their semi-final tomorrow night.
Chris Nunn takes his side into the game on the back of a four game unbeaten run with Saturday’s comeback win over Easington Sports at Bridge Road making it successive wins in the league for the Stutes and only two defeats in eleven games since the CIC quarter-final shoot-out win over UCL high flyers March Town United back in early December.
The Fenmen haven’t been picking up too many results recently although Saturday’s 1-4 reverse at Ashby Ivanhoe was by all accounts a harsh scoreline for the visitors and with only one defeat in their last six at home they will no doubt be a tough nut to crack.
The winners will be decided on the night with penalties deciding who goes through to the final if the scores are level after 90 minutes.
