We hit the road this weekend with a trip to Leicester to take on GNG Oadby Town in a UCL Premier South fixture. Our hosts are not enjoying the happiest of times at present having lost all five of their home games this season. However, Chris Nunn and his side will be taking nothing for granted as they look to build upon the impressive 4-1 win at Stowmarket last week.
Confirmation has been received from Oadby that the ground is playable and the match is on. However, it is advised that the ground is approached from the M1 due to flooding in the Middleton Road area.
Those who have already been to Oadby’s Riverside Ground in Braunstone Lane East, will be aware that the catering facilities are limited to the bare basics, so it may be a good idea to bring a picnic.

If you are not travelling to see the First team on Saturday, you may wish to pop along to Bridge Road to watch the Reserves take on local rivals Cottenham United. The bar will be open as usual and admission is free. Kick off is at 3.00pm.
Looking ahead, the club has arranged a coach for the trip to Great Yarmouth Town in the FA Vase next month. If you would like to express an interest in booking a seat, please contact Paul Smart at Paul.Smart@histonfc.co.uk
