Following our unsuccessful visit to Newport Pagnell Town last Saturday we are on the road again for our visit to Leicester Nirvana.
Nirvana have climbed the table in recent weeks due to five wins out of six, and sit fourth in the current form table. Their most recent victory was a 2-0 home win against Hinckley AFC.
The reverse fixture between us at Bridge Road in February was a tightly contested affair, and resulted in a 2-1 win for the Stutes, as a result of a disputed offside decision that went in our favour. Joe O’Neill and Connor Barnes were our scorers on the day.
Last season’s visit to Nirvana was eventful due to their Hamilton Park ground being waterlogged, and with the requirement to have all games completed by the league deadline, a hastily arranged change of venue and kick-off time resulted in the game being played at Kirby Muxloe FC. Unfortunately for us we went down 5-1 with Connor Barnes scoring our consolation goal.
Nirvana’s Hamilton Park Ground is approximately 72 miles from Bridge Road. The address for your Sat Nav is:
Hamilton Park, Sandhills Avenue, Leicester LE5 1LU
It would be great to see you at Leicester to cheer the lads on, which for many supporters will potentially be a new ground to tick off.
Up The Stutes!
