After three consecutive home games we’re back on our travels this weekend with a trip to Buckinghamshire to face Newport Pagnell Town.
Despite a slow start to the season, Newport Pagnell Town are now currently lying in 6th position, one place outside of the play-offs, and will be looking to avenge the defeat against the Stutes at Bridge Road in September, where Histon ran out 2-0 winners, thanks to goals from Jake Kerins and Connor Barnes.
Although Newport Pagnell Town have four victories out of their last six matches, they have failed to win either of their last two, drawing at home against potential relegation candidates, GNG Oadby Town, and last week, losing away at Coventry United.
From the Stutes perspective, we come into the match off the back of a hard fought 0-0 draw at home to play off hopefuls Daventry Town, who sit one place above Saturday’s opponents.
