Histon Football Club are delighted that from the 2023/24 season Matt Payne’s Reserve Team will once again call Bridge Road home.
With a positive first season in Senior B of the Cambridgeshire County League under the guidance of Payne and Assistant Lee Keen, the club are intent on showing long term commitment to both current and future players at our home of Bridge Road.
Director Josh Few continues, “With the positivity surrounding youth development at the club, and our clear pathway for players from the Under 18’s and Scholarship Scheme into senior football baring fruit, it is key that we acted swiftly to ensure that this continues with the Reserves at Bridge Road. With the facilities that we possess we believe the move will undoubtedly make our Reserve side a more attractive option for incoming signings, as we have an ambition to climb the ladder in due course.”
