The heavy rain last night, on top of the rain over the weekend, has left the Bridge Road pitch in an unfit condition for the friendly game against Royston scheduled for this evening.  We know it is July, and it’s supposed to be summer, but the weather is just not playing fairly at present, despite the amount of tlc lavished upon the pitch since the end of last season.  All very frustrating, but fingers are crossed that all is well for Saturday’s game against Hitchin Town.
