FA Youth Cup 1st Qualifying Round

Our Under 18’s put on a fine performance at Bridge Road last night to ease past Lakenheath and set up a home tie in the next round against Framlingham Town.
Finley Wilkinson rounded off a good move to put us ahead with 25 minutes gone before Oliver Ward doubled the lead five minutes later to put us two up at the break.
It wasn’t until the 71st minute that though that things started to feel a bit more comfortable when Wilkinson’s shot squirmed past the visiting keeper to make it 3-0. With ten minutes to go Jonathan Peters added a fourth to complete the scoring and set up that 2nd Qualifying Round tie against Framlingham Town who beat Woodbridge Town 4-3 last night.
That game is still to be confirmed but is likely to be played on Thursday 8th October at the Bridge. Once details have been finalised we will of course let you all know through the usual channels.
