The closest either side came to scoring was arguably Tom Binder’s close-range effort on his home debut which came back off the post. Both sides had good chances to break the deadlock but the 0-0 draw was a fair result in an all-round entertaining game of football.
Attention now turns to next weekend when Coventry United are our visitors on Saturday 24th followed by a trip down the A428 the following Monday afternoon for our Bank Holiday clash with Eynesbury Rovers. Kick-off for both matches is 3.00pm.
